After criss-crossing the country this summer and fall, Brad Paisley is extending his tour into the winter months. And since a tour originally named in honor of his single “Beat This Summer” feels somewhat, well, seasonally inappropriate, he’s renamed it.
The Beat This Winter Tour begins Jan. 9 in Greenville, South Carolina and runs through March 1, with a stop in Paisley’s home state of West Virginia.
Opening acts during the tour are Chris Young and Danielle Bradbery.

Cowritten by Paisley with Chris DuBois and Luke Laird, “Beat This Summer” was the second single from Paisley’s 2013 album Wheelhouse.
Paisley’s current single is “I Can’t Change the World,” which, as he explained last September, he is planning to turn into a feature film.
“There are so many ways you can tell a story,” Paisley said of the ambitious project. And “as a music artist, it’s very exciting to think about creating a larger way to paint the picture.”
